The Nordic Embassies in Seoul and Yonsei University GSIS Program in International Cooperation on peace and security will host a webinar sharing Nordic experiences of peace mediation and reconciliation and looking into how this can translate to the current situation on the Korean Peninsula, taking a holistic approach that integrates foreign policy analysis, humanitarianism, human rights and denuclearization.
On the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War, our conference seeks to inspire fresh thinking about this intractable problem by analyzing the current situation on the Korean Peninsula by adding the Nordic experience of peace mediation.
