Please join us and the US-Asia Institute for a discussion on the future of the US-ROK Nuclear Consultative Group. In the four months since its establishment, the newly minted US-ROK Nuclear Consultative Group (NCG) has already been put to the test. This virtual discussion will provide an overview of the NCG and its place in the US-ROK Alliance. Our panel of regional experts will also offer their analyses of the NCG’s future, especially in light of recent developments such as those involving North Korea, Russia, and Hamas. The discussion will feature Sharon Squassoni and Suzanne DiMaggio. Squassoni is a current research professor at George Washington University, and DiMaggio is a senior fellow at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. They will be joined by moderator Ankit Panda, a Stanton Senior Fellow for the Nuclear Policy Program at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
